Order Rules of School
- Bow before entering and when leaving the school.
- Be respectful when you see or converse with your KWAN CHANG NIM.
- Respect your senior belts and Tae Kwon Do friends.
- Keep your uniform clean at all times and always clean the gym before leaving.
- Do not face your KWAN CHANG NIM when you are fixing your uniform.
- Do not drink, chew gum, or smoke in the gym or while training.
- Do not use profanity at any time.
- Do not talk loudly, horse play or whistle.
- Do not speak to visitors while training.
- Maintain discipline while training.

Ten Commandments of Self-Defense
- Never under estimate your opponent – always assume they are dangerous.
- Avoid being fancy, use simple, easy and effective techniques.
- Be sure you are always well balanced when delivering a technique.
- Learn to react instantly, be quick and accurate – do not hesitate.
- After attacking or counter-attacking, never lose sight of your adversary, and be alert for a continuation of their attack – avoid being caught by surprise.
- Always deliver your blows to your opponent’s weaker areas.
- Always “YELL” when delivering a technique. This will momentarily distract and possibly alarm your attacker.
- Whenever possible, use any available object as a weapon to help subdue your opponent.
- Always fight aggressively – use all your strength.
- When defending yourself, always fight as if your life depended on it. There is no telling what an attacker’s intentions may be.
